Deadline #1 HW #1 Reading Reflection

After skimming and reading through The Bedford Researcher, Everything's an Argument, and the Handbook/Syllabus, I feel more comfortable and confident of the class. Everything is a step by step process which makes organization effective and will help me out. For example, each deadline shows whats needs to be done much like a checklist. I like this a lot because I will be able to cross out what I have done and need to do so I will not be late on assignments and help with my much needed organizational skills. The books are great because they teach how to research for a topic to working on a bibliography. I really like how the Bedford Researcher as a large amount of helpful information. The pictures and reference will work good because it gives a visual aid while still reading. For example, on collecting information, there are pictures of web pages that show what to type or how to search for a specific topic. I also liked the different arguments and how they form, from the book, Everything's an Argument. It goes into detail such as the speeches and arguments Martin Luther King had. The nice and reassuring thing I like about the Handbook/Syllabus is the course outcomes and guidelines to success. It shows what to expect from the class to get me prepared and the confidence and ability to do well in the class through getting work done and learning about our internet responsibilities. Overall, I am looking forward to use this valuable information starting next week with our research proposal.

Deadline #1 HW8, Help

The course is still very new to me and the only problems I have is trying to figure out what to site to use and when, such as del.icio.us or turnitin.com. The syllabus has a lot of information but reading a couple times should make it clearer. My only question right now is what do I write about for the Reading Reflection for Deadline #1. Is it the syllabus/handbook? I'm just a little lost.
Thanks

Introduction about Me

Hi my name is Justin Winter, I am 19 years old raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. I just finished my freshman year at the University of Montana and moved back down here. I enjoy the outdoors, football, rugby, snowboarding, ping pong, fourwheeling, and hunting. My academic goals are to get a 3.5 GPA or better because I need to redeem myself from some of my grades of last year. I would like to get A's or B's. My professional goal is either to work for the game and fish or become an outdoor writer for a hunting magazine. I except the class to be a little challeneing because I have never had an online class before and still over my head with all these different sites and blogs. It should be a fun class and hope to enjoy it. What I want from this class is to improve my writing skills, learn from my mistakes, and help me get prepared for my career. So thats pretty much me.
Oh and I forgot I have a twin brother and I am half french haha.
