Deadline #3 HW #3 Search Plan

1. Sources:
Government Documents regarding bills and/or petitions on hunting related issues. Hunting websites such as SCI (Safari Club International) and U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance which have articles and updated news on hunting related topics and hunting rights. CQ Researcher which have a great article on hunting controversy. Hunting Magazines such as Field and Stream which have news and statistics on hunting and anti-hunting. PETA website which has information on anti-hunting. I will also check hunting forums on websites which have personal views on the topic.
2. Resources: Majority of my resources will be electronic. I will get my information off of the Mesa Community College library database and catalog to retrieve government documents. I will use web search engines such as Google. I will also use web directories, news search sites, and government documents search sites and directories. I am going to use some print resources, such as magazines and newspapers.
3. Search Strategies:
Keyword and Phrase Searches
I will use simple searches, such as "hunting", "anti-hunting", "hunting rights", "animal-activists", "in-humane", and "tradition". Searches for exact phrases, such as "hunting controversy", "animal rights activists fight against hunting", and "hunting debate".

Justin,
The NRA has lots of great resources available on their website, too. Here is a link to their "Armed Citizen" columns...
